Liberty Ridge was established in 1974 to produce natural fibers for spinning, weaving, felting, knitting and crafts. The farm is situated in central New York on the edge of the Adirondacks. The fields are filled with white and natural colored sheep and angora goats. The barn is full of a palette of natural colored angora rabbits?and keeping everyone rounded up are a number of very busy border collies. A 6th generation shepherd runs the business.

We offer specialized classes in spinning and dyeing, felting and yarn design. The farm is a source for specialized craft equipment, spinning wheels, looms, craft books, yarns and sheepskin products. We have had 26 years experience in the craft industry and we are recognized internationally as experts in the natural fiber industry.
